AS WE CELEBRATE AMERICA’S birthday this July 4th, it was a mere 250 years ago that we gained our freedom. And after many terrible wars that cost millions of American lives.

We see them as something like the Founding Fathers, grave and gray-haired.

But most of them were boys when they died, and they gave up two lives – the one they were living and the one they would have lived.

They gave up everything for our country, for us. And all we can do is remember…”

CPO Martinez joined the Navy in 2009 after working as a contractor for the United States Marine Corps, wanting to serve his country, travel, and further pursue his education.

He was serving as a personnel assistant with the Navy Talent Acquisition Group (NTAG) Golden Gate, San Francisco, CA, upon his passing.

Please pray for family, friends, and fellow shipmates as they prepare to lay their hero to rest next week.

  Two U.S. Army teams transfer the

remains of six fallen service members

during a dignified transfer,

March 7, 2026, at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware.

The soldiers were assigned to the 103rd Sustainment Command, Des Moines, Iowa.
